BCF has no employees or office accommodation. All our directors and facilitators work from home and are only paid for the work they do.
It is not possible to conduct training at schools in the southern hemisphere between September and February as year-end examinations are written in October and November each year and schools close from early December until mid-January. BCF does not therefore carry the overhead of having to pay salaries during this period.
Almost every cent received goes directly to project costs. This is probably the closest one could get to being a true non-profit organisation.
