Education throughout the world will be energised when Cluster and Circuit Managers are trained and mandated to empower principals to reinvent their schools to become centres of excellence.
This will change their role from being compliance managers to becoming change leaders who lead the schools for which they are responsible to become centres of excellence in which all stakeholders proudly support their school.
Cluster and Circuit Managers will not train principals to get great results. They will empower principals to lead schools to develop a high performance culture. The great results will follow.
On the 12th September BCF has been invited to lead a brainstorming workshop for an education district in South Africa to brainstorm a new role for its Cluster and Circuit Managers. This will entail reviewing their job descriptions and the future role they will play in training, mentoring, monitoring and coaching of SMTs of each school for which they are responsible.
This development follows the release last week of the impressive results achieved by primary schools which had been empowered by school inspectors in Lesotho who had been trained by BCF.
Should this lead to the District commissioning BCF to train their 20 Cluster and Circuit Managers it will directly and permanently impact on the lives and educational outcomes of 220,000 learners who attend over 200 schools in that District.
