The entire BCF family is immensely saddened by the sudden death of one of our first facilitators, Mpone Sifumba.
After a life in education as a highly successful and popular principal and then circuit manager, in 2012 she joined the Billion Child Foundation and participated in facilitating programmes to capacitate principals of hundreds of schools to reinvent their schools to become centres of excellence.
In addition she trained hundreds of teachers and religious leaders to present the BCF Win-Win Parenting Skills Training Programme to tens of thousands of parents in Lesotho and South Africa.
We, and the legions of principals, teachers and parents who met Mpone will remember her for her wit, wisdom and compassion.
